Done for the Day …

The Judges called the test at 5:05 pm. There will be thirty three dogs left to run tomorrow. The Test Dog will run at 6:30 am and the first running dog will follow: Dog #26.

We'll be posting some pictures up tonight, so be sure to check back to see your favorites!

25. FC Drake’s Bay Parting Of The Sea, “Moses”, LM, Wayne Curtis

Flyer: Okay.

Right Retired: Ran the shore close to the pond on right, straight to fall area. Few turns and picked up his bird.

Middle Retired: Cut left end of pond straight up hill; loops left and right. Got it!

24. FC-AFC Valtor’s Hayseed Kid, “Kid”, LM, Breck Howard

Flyer: Straight to the bird.

Right Retired: Got in the middle of the pond. Start angle right. Straight back to the trees and right to the bird.

Middle Retired: Wide left up the hill. Turned sharp right by gunner's blind and worked wide left and then back left behind the tree. Down to the right and got it.

23. FC-AFC Hoot N Holler, “Hoot”, LM, Mark Medford

Flyer: Smacked it!

Right Retired: Skimmed right corner of the pond, staying dry. Straight to the area and bird.

Middle Retired: Up left side to trees, turned right to bird area. Missed it, with a few turns he got it.

22. FC-AFC Chopper’s Rx to Win, “Windy”, LF, Bob Crabb

Flyer: Stomped it!

Middle Retired: Into the middle of the pond and straight across. Ran straight towards trees, turned to the left and got it.

Right Retired: Took right side of the pond. Kept right angle past blind and out to trees. Turned and hunted area, then came left to fall area and the bird.

20. FC-AFC Ride Sally Ride III, “Sally”, LF, Jay Chesshir

Flyer: Very nice.

Middle Retired: Going wide left up hill. Turned behind trees. Went out for the bird and brought it back the same way went out.

Right Retired: Dog went into the pond, swimming across with angle towards the bird. Went wide right to the tree. Turned back left to the bird.

Almost the end of the day …

The sun is slowly setting and that is putting a chill in the air. We will be wrapping this up soon for today and will have around thirty dogs to run tomorrow. We will post pictures tonight of as many handlers as we could take, but we felt it was best to get the "play-by-play" up in a timely manner so you could keep up with your favorite team.
